About this piece

ANPU is a ritual on canvas, this piece explores the opening of the cervical vertebrae not just as a physical movement, but as a symbolic yielding of the ego.

In this work, the act of kneeling represents a profound surrender, while the hand placed over the heart symbolises the cultivation of pure thought. It is a portrait of the moment I beg to be larger than my internal dramas, relaxing into a different body shape to help the mind find its way back to center.

A sacred reminder to snap out of the static and return to the heart.

Shipping & Care | Original Works

Because Blue Obsidian is a layered, textured original, it requires a little extra tenderness to ensure its medicine remains intact.

• The Journey: Due to its unique elongated dimensions (50cm x 25cm), ANPU is shipped in a custom-built reinforced flat-pack to ensure the structural integrity of the canvas and the "spine" of the work remains unbent.

• Shipping: All originals are shipped from London via a tracked and insured premium service. You will receive your tracking number as soon as the "Blue Obsidian" begins its journey to you.

• Timing: Please allow 5–7 business days for me to personally prepare, pack, and bless the piece for transit.

Long-term Care

• Placement: To preserve the vibrant "Blue Obsidian" hues, please hang your painting away from direct, harsh sunlight. While I use high-quality pigments, the sun is a powerful force that can fade even the strongest spirits over time.

• Cleaning: If the surface gathers dust, a light touch with a clean, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush is all it needs. Please avoid water, cleaning chemicals, or damp cloths, as these can disturb the "calcified" textures of the paint.

• Framing: This piece is sold unframed, allowing you to choose a "mask" for it that suits your own sanctuary.
