About this piece.

You Burst my bubble! is a visceral exploration of pain as a compass. It captures the sharp, throbbing intimacy of a self-inflicted moment the addictive cycle of seeking proof of life through destruction. It is not a cry for help, but a mirror held to the ways we use pain to anchor ourselves to reality. This piece asks you to integrate the distance between self-destruction and the search for liberation.

• The Journey: As an original on canvas board, the painting will be shipped flat in an archival, puncture-proof mailer. I use moisture-resistant layering to ensure it arrives exactly as intended.
• Care: To maintain the intensity of the colour please display away from harsh, direct sunlight.
• Framing: The 20cm x 25cm size is perfect for standard framing, but a gold or dark wood "floater" frame would truly emphasise its ritualistic, antique feel.

Long-term Care

• Placement: To preserve the vibrant hues, please hang your painting away from direct, harsh sunlight. While I use high-quality pigments, the sun is a powerful force that can fade even the strongest spirits over time.

• Cleaning: If the surface gathers dust, a light touch with a clean, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush is all it needs. Please avoid water, cleaning chemicals, or damp cloths, as these can disturb the "calcified" textures of the paint.

• Framing: This piece is sold unframed, allowing you to choose a "mask" for it that suits your own sanctuary.
